DAY 1:KAMPALA TO MURCHISON FALLS

Murchison Falls National Park transfer 5-6 hours’ drive from Kampala. Drive Northwards via Luweero, a renowned historical town and en-route, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary will be your stopover area to track rhinos.

Leave Ziwa for you upscale dining in Masindi town, then drive to your lodge via Kichumbanyobo gate but before getting to your lodge, pay a visit to the top of the falls.

DAY 2:MURCHISON FALLS EXPLORATION

Starting your morning game drive early is the best thing to catch up with the early morning risers. For 3-4 hours’ game drive along the Northern game track, your journey guarantees you astonishing wildlife sightings including buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, birds, lions, leopards etc.

After lunch, you will be heading for an afternoon Victoria Nile launch trip taking 2-3 hours up to the bottom of the falls. From Paraa to the bottom of the falls, there are several wildlife species to see along the river banks including the Nile crocodiles, hippos, aquatic birds and more.

Leave the boat upon arrival at the bottom of the Murchison Falls, start hiking up to top of the falls to observe it as forces itself into a narrow rock, creating a permanent rainbow and a thunderous sound.

DAY 3:MURCHISON TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NP

Queen Elizabeth National Park is in Rukungiri, Kasese, Rubirizi and Kamwenge districts, a magical place to see the tree climbing lions plus a unique Kazinga channel.

Leave Murchison Falls National Park, navigate via Fort Port where lunch will be served, see the Crater Lakes, Rwenzori Mountain ranges etc. en-route. Arrive at Queen Elizabeth National Park to check into your booked fancy wildlife safari lodge for overnight stay.

DAY 4:QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK FULL DAY

Leave your lodge for a game drive Queen Elizabeth Safari Park taking 3-4 hours while spotting diversity of wildlife. The Kasenyi track is a complete game viewing trail and expect animal sightings such as bush elephants, lions, leopards, kobs, birds, buffaloes, warthogs and others.

Return for lunch, after the next activity will be Kazinga Channel boat cruise for 2-3 hours. This is for you to see hippos, water birds, crocodiles and after, get back while still exploring more attractions on the Kazinga channel that links Lake Edward and George.

DAY 5: DRIVE TO BWINDI NATIONAL PARK

The 5th day of our 7 Days Luxury Safari Uganda is almost for driving from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi, 4-5 hours’ drive road trip starts early morning after breakfast.

Drive via Ishasha to view the rare tree-climbing lions, many other wildlife, birds, breathtaking landscape and after, connect to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

DAY 6 :GORILLA TREKKING

Engage in a thrilling gorilla trekking: Leave your luxury safari lodge with a bottled water, snacks and fully on your waterproof hiking boots, join other visitors for briefing. While at the briefing point, you get to know the gorilla trekking regulations, a gorilla group to track starting at 8:00am.

The whole trekking adventure takes 2-6 hours and it includes one hour to be spent with mountain gorillas in the wild. After, return for relaxation at the lodge for either swimming or you can opt to visit the Batwa pygmies in the nearby local community.
