Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Our journey to Lake Nakuru will cut across the Great Rift Valley, with Mt Longonot in the background. You will also see the enchanting Lake Naivasha, the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes. You will arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, you will set out for an afternoon game-viewing drive. The park is renowned to be a bird watchers’ paradise due to the numerous populations of birds, the most famous being the thousands of flamingos which form a beautiful deep pink coloration around the edges of the lake shore.
Apart from these flamingos and over 400 species of birds, there are approximately 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many game species can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffes, black and white rhinos, waterbucks, reedbucks, lions, buffalos, leopards, baboons and many species of plains game.
You will have a late evening game drive.

You will return for dinner and an overnight stay at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

You will have an early breakfast at the lodge and depart with an en-route game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park as you drive to Naivasha. You will arrive in time for lunch at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

You will spend the afternoon leisurely on your own. You can also take a boat ride at Lake Naivasha (payable direct at the lake and the cost is not included in our price). You will go for an evening walk around the lake and then return for dinner and overnight stay at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha to Nairobi

After breakfast at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, you will leave for Nairobi. You will drive slowly and make stop-overs along the way to allow you to enjoy the beauty of the Great Rift Valley.

You will arrive in the capital city early afternoon and be dropped off at the place of your choice within Nairobi.
