Day 1: Nairobi – Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Your Kenya Safari Tour begins with a morning departure from Nairobi, heading north through the fertile central highlands toward the foothills of Mount Kenya. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of farmlands, rolling hills, and local communities as the journey gradually transitions into the wilderness.
Arrive at Ol Pejeta Conservancy in time for lunch at your camp, where you can relax and take in the peaceful surroundings. This private conservancy is known for its conservation efforts and rich wildlife.
In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive within the conservancy, including a visit to the Chimpanzee Sanctuary—the only one of its kind in Kenya. You will also explore the Visitor Information Centre before returning to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Ol Pejeta – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta and drive south toward the Great Rift Valley, crossing the equator along the way. Enjoy a scenic stop at Thomson’s Falls in Nyahururu, where you can stretch your legs and admire the cascading waters surrounded by lush vegetation.
Continue your journey to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. The park is famous for its alkaline lake and vibrant birdlife, including large flocks of flamingos.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around the park, where you may spot rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, lions, buffalo, and various antelope species. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and continue your Kenya Safari Tour along the Rift Valley floor toward the Maasai Mara. The drive offers changing scenery, from wooded landscapes to open grasslands.
Arrive at Maasai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch at your camp, followed by some relaxation as you prepare for your next adventure.
In the afternoon, head out for a game drive that introduces you to this vast and wildlife-rich reserve. Expect to see a variety of animals across the plains before returning to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, one of the best times to observe wildlife activity during your Kenya Safari Tour. Predators are often active at dawn, increasing your chances of memorable sightings.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Maasai Mara with flexible game drive options. You can choose a full-day safari with a picnic lunch or split your time between morning and afternoon drives.
The reserve is home to the Big Five as well as countless other species, making it one of Africa’s most rewarding safari destinations. Optional visits to a Maasai village can also be arranged for a cultural experience before returning to camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast, check out of your camp and begin your journey back to Nairobi. The drive allows time to reflect on your Kenya Safari Tour and the incredible wildlife experiences you’ve enjoyed.
Arrive in Nairobi in the early afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred to the airport for your onward journey.
An optional lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant can be arranged, providing a perfect way to end your safari adventure.
