Day 1: Cape Town – Hermanus – Cape Agulhas
Your Africa Safari Holiday begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel or the airport in Cape Town. Travel along the scenic coastline toward Hermanus, stopping at Betties Bay to visit a colony of African penguins. Hermanus is famous for seasonal Southern Right whale sightings between July and November.
Continue south to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. Guests may also choose optional adventure activities such as shark cage diving, whale watching cruises, or cycling to the southern tip.

Day 2: Cape Agulhas – Oudtshoorn
After breakfast, travel inland along the scenic Route 62, known as the longest wine route in South Africa. Arrive in Oudtshoorn, famously known as the Ostrich Capital of the World.
Enjoy wine tasting at a local winery before heading to a working game farm where you’ll explore an ostrich farm while admiring the stunning Swartberg and Outeniqua mountain ranges.

Day 3: Oudtshoorn – Wilderness – Sedgefield
Today’s Africa Safari Holiday adventure takes you across the spectacular Outeniqua Mountain Pass toward Wilderness National Park. Enjoy canoeing along the peaceful Touw River through indigenous forests rich with birdlife.
After canoeing, take a scenic boardwalk hike to beautiful waterfalls and rock pools before continuing to the coastal town of Sedgefield to relax by the beach.

Day 4: Sedgefield – Knysna – Tsitsikamma – Addo
Travel through the scenic lake district of the Garden Route toward the famous town of Knysna. Visit the stunning Knysna Heads viewpoint for panoramic views of the Indian Ocean and lagoon.
Continue to the famous Bloukrans Bridge, home to the world’s highest commercial bungee jump. Later, explore the dramatic coastline and suspension bridges of Tsitsikamma National Park before continuing to the Addo region. Dinner and overnight stay in the Addo area
Day 5: Addo – Wilderness/Sedgefield
Enjoy an unforgettable morning safari drive through Addo Elephant National Park, one of South Africa’s best wildlife destinations. During your game drive, look out for elephants, lions, Cape buffalo, black rhinos, zebras, warthogs, antelope species, and more.
After your wildlife experience, travel back toward the heart of the Garden Route for another relaxing overnight stay in Wilderness or Sedgefield.

Day 6: Wilderness/Mossel Bay – Cape Town
After breakfast, travel to Mossel Bay where you can relax on beautiful beaches or explore the famous Cape St. Blaize coastal trail overlooking the Indian Ocean. Visit the Diaz Museum Complex commemorating early European exploration of southern Africa. Adventure seekers can also enjoy optional activities including tandem skydiving, sandboarding, and an ocean zipline before returning to Cape Town in the evening, marking the end of your unforgettable Africa Safari Holiday
