Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park – The Elephant Kingdom
Your Affordable Safari Package adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Arusha hotel and transfer to Tarangire National Park. With a packed lunch, you’ll embark on your first game drive across grassland plains dotted with ancient baobab trees. Tarangire is home to some of Tanzania’s largest elephant herds, as well as endangered species such as African wild dogs, pythons, and kudus. Bird enthusiasts will be delighted—over 550 species have been recorded here, more than in the Serengeti itself. By evening, settle into your campsite for dinner and overnight rest.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park – The Endless Plains
After breakfast, continue your safari with a scenic drive to the Serengeti. The journey takes 4–5 hours, with picnic lunch en route. Upon arrival in Central Serengeti, your game drive begins immediately. This region is well-known for its year-round wildlife, especially leopards that thrive along the Seronera River, alongside large populations of lions and cheetahs. Depending on the season (June to October), you may also witness the Great Migration, with herds of wildebeests and zebras moving across the plains.

Day 3: Full-Day Serengeti Safari – Balloon Option & Migration Views
Rise early for a sunrise game drive in the Serengeti wilderness. Watch predators like lions and cheetahs hunting at dawn while grazers such as giraffes and gazelles begin their day. For an extra-special experience, you can opt for a hot-air balloon safari (additional cost), offering breathtaking aerial views of the Serengeti. Later, continue with an afternoon game drive before transferring to the Ngorongoro region for the night.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration – Return to Arusha
On your final day, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its high concentration of wildlife, the crater floor offers the best chance to see the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and the rare black rhino—all in a single day. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the crater before continuing your game drive.
