If time allows, enjoy your first game viewing experience inside Etosha National Park later in the afternoon.
Etosha National Park is famous for its spectacular wildlife sightings around natural waterholes, open grasslands, and the massive Etosha salt pan.

Day 2: Explore Etosha National Park
Today is dedicated to a full self-drive safari through Etosha National Park. Early morning is the best time for wildlife viewing as animals are most active after sunrise.
Search for lions, elephants, rhinos, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, springboks, and many other animals that roam freely across the park. Etosha’s waterholes provide excellent opportunities for close wildlife encounters and photography.
If preferred, a professionally guided safari can also be arranged at an additional cost.

On the way, you may stop at the Okahandja Craft Market to shop for traditional Namibian souvenirs and local crafts. Alternatively, visit the Windhoek Craft Market for a more relaxed shopping experience with cafés and local food options.
Return your rental vehicle in Windhoek before transferring to Windhoek International Airport for your departure flight.
