Day 1: Maun – Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Your journey begins in Maun, the gateway to Botswana safaris. After an early breakfast and briefing, you travel deep into the Central Kalahari. Upon arrival, your camp is set up in the wilderness.
Enjoy lunch, relax at camp, and head out for your first afternoon game drive. Return at sunset for dinner under the African sky and an overnight stay in the bush.
Day 2: Central Kalahari Exploration
A full day dedicated to exploring the vast wilderness of the Central Kalahari.
Morning and afternoon game drives reveal desert-adapted wildlife, open savannahs, and incredible solitude. Between drives, relax at camp, enjoy meals, and soak in the silence of the Kalahari.
Day 3: Central Kalahari – Nxai Pan
After breakfast, you begin your scenic drive toward Nxai Pan. The journey takes you across changing landscapes before reaching the salt pan ecosystem.
Camp is set up on arrival, followed by lunch and an afternoon game drive. Expect wide open views and possible wildlife gatherings around water sources.
Day 4: Baines Baobabs – Return to Maun
Start the morning with an excursion to the iconic Baines Baobabs, massive ancient trees immortalized by explorer Thomas Baines.
After exploring and enjoying a packed lunch in the wild, you journey back toward Maun where your safari ends in the afternoon.
