Day 1: Zanzibar to Kogatende Airstrip – Northern Serengeti
Your safari begins with a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to the Kogatende Airstrip in Northern Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, your professional safari guide will warmly welcome you before beginning an exciting game drive across the wildlife-rich plains.
The Northern Serengeti is famous for the Great Migration and Mara River crossings, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras gather as predators wait nearby. Enjoy your first safari experience before heading to camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, continue exploring the Northern Serengeti with morning game drives focused around the Mara River region. Depending on the season and wildlife movement, you may witness dramatic migration river crossings and intense predator activity.
The Serengeti ecosystem hosts over 1.5 million wildebeests during the annual migration, accompanied by zebras and gazelles as they travel across the plains in search of fresh grazing lands. Your experienced guide will track the migration herds to maximize your wildlife viewing opportunities.
Later, travel toward the Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Central Serengeti National Park – Home of the Big Five
Enjoy a morning game drive through the Central Serengeti, one of Tanzania’s best wildlife viewing regions. The famous Seronera River Valley supports abundant resident wildlife throughout the year, making it an excellent area for spotting both predators and herbivores.
Search for lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, hippos, impalas, warthogs, hartebeests, and many other species roaming the endless plains. During the dry season, wildlife gathers near permanent water sources, creating exceptional safari experiences and photographic opportunities.
After your game drive, travel to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha Flight to Zanzibar
Begin the day with an early morning drive to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Descend into the crater floor for a thrilling game drive among an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch near one of the crater lakes, often visited by hippos, flamingos, and storks.
After exploring the crater, continue to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar, bringing your unforgettable Tanzanian safari adventure to an end.
