Day 1-2: Chobe National Park – Chobe Riverfront
Your safari begins upon arrival in Kasane where you will be met and transferred to the beautiful Chobe National Park. Known for its massive elephant population and spectacular riverfront scenery, Chobe National Park is one of Botswana’s premier safari destinations.
In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise along the famous Chobe River. This scenic excursion provides excellent opportunities to spot elephants swimming across the river, hippos cooling in the water, crocodiles basking along the banks, and a variety of birdlife including African fish eagles, kingfishers, and herons. The riverfront is especially beautiful during sunset, offering perfect photography moments and breathtaking African landscapes.
Spend the night at a comfortable mid-range mobile campsite set within the wilderness, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the sounds and atmosphere of the African bush.
On Day 2, depart for a full-day game drive along the Chobe Riverfront. Explore the park’s diverse habitats while searching for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, zebras, elephants, and numerous predators that thrive in this wildlife-rich ecosystem. Large buffalo herds and elephant gatherings are commonly seen near the riverbanks, especially during the dry season.
Return to your campsite in the evening for dinner and overnight stay beneath the African stars.

Day 3-4: Savuti Region
After breakfast, continue your safari journey deeper into the remote and rugged Savuti region, one of Botswana’s most legendary wildlife areas located within Chobe National Park. The scenic drive through the park offers incredible game viewing opportunities along the way as you travel across changing landscapes of woodlands, open plains, and marshes.
Arrive in Savuti and head out for an afternoon game drive exploring this predator-rich wilderness. Savuti is famous for its dramatic wildlife interactions and strong populations of lions, hyenas, elephants, leopards, and other predators. The area is also known for its ancient baobab trees and the mysterious Savuti Marsh, which transforms seasonally and attracts large concentrations of animals.
Spend the night at your mid-range mobile campsite set in the heart of the wilderness, offering an authentic safari camping experience surrounded by nature.
Day 4 is dedicated to full-day exploration of the Savuti region with both morning and afternoon game drives. Search for predators on the open plains, observe elephant herds moving through the bush, and enjoy the untouched beauty of one of Botswana’s most iconic safari destinations. The ever-changing landscapes and rich wildlife make Savuti a paradise for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Return to Kasane or Transfer to Maun
After breakfast, begin your journey back toward Kasane or continue onward to Maun depending on your travel plans. Enjoy a final game drive en route with another chance to spot wildlife before exiting the park.
Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at the airport or transferred for onward travel arrangements to Zambia, Zimbabwe, or your next safari destination, marking the end of your memorable Botswana camping adventure.
