Day 1–2 – Into the Okavango Delta
Your Africa Safari Tours journey begins at Maun Airport, where you board a shared charter flight into the breathtaking Okavango Delta.
You will spend two nights at Mopiri Camp on a full-board basis, surrounded by pristine waterways, palm islands, and papyrus channels.
This part of your Africa Safari Tours experience focuses on water-based safari activities including mokoro excursions, motorboat cruises, island walks, fishing, and birdwatching. Guests also enjoy sunset views from the barge while spotting hippos, crocodiles, and elephants along the Delta channels.
Optional fly camping can be added for a deeper wilderness experience in the heart of the Delta.
Day 3–5 – Khwai Predator Region
Continue your Africa Safari Tours adventure with a shared charter flight from the Delta into the Mababe–Khwai region.
Stay for three nights at Nokanyana Camp, a luxury camp overlooking floodplains along the Khwai River near the edge of Moremi Game Reserve.
This region is one of Botswana’s top wildlife hotspots, known for exceptional predator sightings including lions, leopards, wild dogs, hyenas, and large elephant herds.
Activities during this stage of your Africa Safari Tours include:
- Morning and afternoon game drives
- Night drives for nocturnal wildlife viewing
- Bush walks with expert guides
- Birdwatching excursions
- Mokoro excursions (seasonal)
- Cultural village visits
- Fishing experiences
The combination of land and water activities makes this one of the most diverse safari segments in Botswana.
Day 6 – Departure
On the final morning of your Africa Safari Tours, enjoy breakfast and one last safari activity before transfer.
You will then take a shared charter flight back to Maun Airport, marking the end of your Botswana wilderness experience.
Optional extensions are available to Victoria Falls, Cape Town, or Indian Ocean beach destinations.
