Day 1: Windhoek to Etosha National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Windhoek accommodation followed by a safari briefing. Travel north through scenic landscapes with a stop in Otjiwarongo before entering Etosha National Park, one of Africa’s top wildlife destinations.
Enjoy an afternoon game drive as you head to your lodge accommodation. After dinner, visit the floodlit Halali waterhole where elephants and endangered black rhinos are often seen at night.
Day 2: Etosha Pan
Rise early for a full day of wildlife viewing in Etosha National Park. Explore the park’s famous waterholes where animals gather to drink and witness the impressive Etosha Pan, a vast salt pan visible from space.
Look out for lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, springboks, and many bird species before exiting the park at sunset and heading to your next lodge accommodation.
Day 3: Skeleton Coast
Travel west through the dramatic landscapes of Damaraland with its mountains and granite hills. Meet local Himba, Herero, and Damara communities and enjoy a picnic lunch near Brandberg, Namibia’s highest mountain.
Continue to the Skeleton Coast to see the famous Zeila shipwreck before arriving in the coastal town of Swakopmund, known for its German colonial architecture and seaside charm.
Day 4: Swakopmund to Namib Desert
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Swakopmund with optional activities such as quad biking or sandboarding. Later, journey through the Namib Desert via the scenic Kuiseb and Gaub Passes.
Stop at the Tropic of Capricorn and Solitaire, famous for its apple pie, before arriving at your desert lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Sossusvlei Adventures
Depart before sunrise to experience the spectacular dunes of Sossusvlei glowing red and orange in the morning light. Explore Dead Vlei with its ancient camelthorn trees and climb one of the world’s highest sand dunes for panoramic views.
Visit Dune 45 and Sesriem Canyon before returning to your lodge in the afternoon.
Day 6: Sossusvlei to Windhoek
Travel back through Namibia’s beautiful mountain landscapes and central plateau with a stop in Solitaire before arriving in Windhoek in the afternoon.
