Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your safari begins with a morning pick-up at 7:30 am from your hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Leaving the city behind, you travel south across open savannah landscapes dotted with traditional Maasai villages.
Arrive at Amboseli National Park around midday and check in at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. After lunch and some relaxation, depart for your first afternoon game drive.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the plains. Alongside elephants, you may also encounter lions, cheetahs, giraffes, buffalo, and numerous bird species.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full-Day Game Drives in Amboseli
Spend the entire day exploring Amboseli National Park.
You may choose a full-day safari with picnic lunch or enjoy morning and afternoon game drives. Amboseli’s wetlands, open plains, and acacia woodlands provide habitat for elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and predators such as lions and hyenas.
Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy sightings of pelicans, flamingos, secretary birds, and crowned cranes.
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Amboseli to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, travel north through Kenya’s highlands toward Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Arrive in time for lunch at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, followed by an afternoon game drive.
Ol Pejeta is one of Africa’s most important conservation areas, hosting East Africa’s largest population of black rhinos. It is also home to the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees can be seen.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Samburu National Reserve
Begin the day with a morning game drive before traveling north to Samburu National Reserve.
After lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge, enjoy an afternoon safari.
Samburu is known for the rare Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and the long-necked gerenuk.

Day 5: Full-Day Safari in Samburu
Spend the day exploring the dramatic landscapes of Samburu National Reserve.
Game drives along the Ewaso Nyiro River provide opportunities to see elephants, leopards, lions, and crocodiles.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Samburu to Lake Naivasha
Depart after breakfast for the Great Rift Valley and the beautiful Lake Naivasha.
After lunch at Avian Court Hotel, enjoy a boat ride across the lake where hippos and fish eagles are often seen.
You will also visit Crescent Island, where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes.

Day 7: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
Visit Hell’s Gate National Park in the morning before continuing to Masai Mara National Reserve.
Arrive for lunch at Zebra Plains Mara Camp, followed by an afternoon game drive or Maasai cultural visit.

Day 8–9: Full Safari Experience in Masai Mara
Spend two full days exploring the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve.
Game drives may include visits to the Mara River, where the Great Wildebeest Migration river crossings occur between July and October.
Expect encounters with lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of herbivores.
Optional: Sunrise hot air balloon safari.

Day 10: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy a final sunrise game drive before breakfast. Afterward, begin the return journey to Nairobi.
Depending on your flight schedule, optional visits may include the Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum.
Transfer to your hotel or the airport for your departure flight.
