Day 1: Windhoek to Swakopmund
Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup from your Windhoek accommodation or the airport, followed by a short pre-departure meeting at Chameleon Safaris Head Office.
Travel north through Okahandja before heading west past the small towns of Karibib and Usakos toward Walvis Bay on Namibia’s famous Skeleton Coast. Enjoy views of the Atlantic coastline and the Ramsar-listed Walvis Bay Lagoon, known for its flamingos and birdlife.
Continue to Swakopmund and check in at the centrally located Hotel Pension A La Mer. Spend the afternoon exploring the charming coastal town with its German colonial architecture, cafés, restaurants, and beaches.
Optional activities include scenic flights, skydiving, quad biking, and desert excursions.

Day 2: Swakopmund to Sesriem
Enjoy a relaxed morning before departing Swakopmund around midday and heading into the Namib Desert.
Travel through the dramatic Kuiseb Pass and Gaub Pass, surrounded by rugged mountains and desert canyons carved over thousands of years. Stop at the Tropic of Capricorn for photographs before continuing toward Sesriem.
Arrive at Desert Camp in time for a short sunset walk and admire the breathtaking views over the Naukluft Mountains as the sun disappears below the horizon.

Day 3: Sossusvlei Excursion
Rise before dawn for an early breakfast and departure to the famous Sossusvlei dune fields. Witness the spectacular sunrise over the towering red dunes as they glow in shades of orange and apricot.
Travel through the ancient Tsauchab Riverbed and continue by 4×4 shuttle into Sossusvlei itself. Explore the famous Dead Vlei, surrounded by giant dunes and ancient camelthorn trees that have stood for over a thousand years.
Stop at the iconic Dune 45 before visiting the dramatic Sesriem Canyon on the return journey.

Day 4: Sesriem to Windhoek
Today you begin your return journey to Windhoek. Stop at Solitaire to taste the area’s famous homemade apple pie before continuing through Namibia’s scenic mountain landscapes and central plateau.
Travel via BűellsPort and Rehoboth before arriving in Windhoek during the afternoon. Drop-off is available at your accommodation within the city limits or at the airport.
For departing flights, the earliest recommended departure time is after 19:00 to allow for possible delays.
