9 Days Mid- Luxury in Tanzania

This 9-day trip lets you experience Tanzania’s amazing wildlife and end with relaxing days on Zanzibar Island. You’ll visit top parks like Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater to see many animals including the Big Five. After the safari, enjoy the beautiful beaches and clear waters of Zanzibar.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your driver will meet you and take you to your hotel in Arusha. You can either rest or explore the city depending on your energy.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

Drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for large herds of elephants and giant baobab trees. Spend the day game driving with a picnic lunch. Overnight near the park.

Day 3: Travel to Serengeti National Park

Travel from Karatu to Serengeti National Park, passing scenic farmland and hills. Enter the park and enjoy a game drive on the way to your camp.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Explore the Serengeti all day with your guide. Spot lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeest, and zebras. Optionally, take a balloon safari for a bird’s-eye view of the plains.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

Drive to Ngorongoro Crater early morning. Descend into the crater for a game drive to see the Big Five and many other animals. Afterward, head to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Days 6–8: Zanzibar Island

Fly from Arusha to Zanzibar Island. Transfer to your beach hotel and enjoy free time for swimming, snorkeling, relaxing, or exploring the island.

Day 9: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your flight home, ending your safari and beach vacation.
