Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
Upon arrival at Nairobi’s JKIA airport, you will be met by a representative. Depending on your arrival time, you will either stay in Nairobi or head directly into the Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara. You’ll arrive at the luxury Tipilikwani Mara Camp for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. This is a chance to spot elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, and more. Optional visits to a Maasai village are available at extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
Day 2: Full Day Masai Mara Exploration
Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife regions. Early morning drives offer the best chances to see big cats in action and beautiful morning light for photography. You can also opt for a hot air balloon safari over the reserve at an additional cost. Return to Tipilikwani Mara Camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
After a leisurely breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, famous for its huge flocks of flamingos and diverse birdlife. The park is also home to white rhinos, buffalo, and nearly 450 bird species. Arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, then enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha via Hell’s Gate National Park
Start the day with a morning game drive at Lake Nakuru, then head to Lake Naivasha, stopping at Hell’s Gate National Park. Hell’s Gate is known for its dramatic cliffs, gorges, volcanic scenery, and geothermal activity. Optional activities here include mountain biking and rock climbing. Arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort for lunch, with optional boat safaris on Lake Naivasha to see hippos and enjoy beautiful lake views (extra cost). Dinner and overnight at the resort.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
After an early breakfast, travel to Amboseli National Park, famous for having the highest concentration of elephants in the world. Arrive for lunch at Kilima Safari Camp, followed by a short evening game drive. Relax and enjoy dinner at the lodge before overnight stay.
Day 6: Full Day Amboseli National Park
Spend the day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. Enjoy magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro and watch large elephant herds. The park offers varied habitats, including wetlands and savannahs, and is home to lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and more. You may also visit local Maasai communities to experience their culture. Return to Kilima Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Amboseli to Nairobi
After an early breakfast, take a final morning game drive in Amboseli. Then journey back to Nairobi with drop-off at the airport or your hotel, concluding your safari. Accommodation after the safari can be arranged at an additional cost.
