Day 1: Lusaka to Kanyemba – Arrive in the Wilderness

You will be picked up in Lusaka and travel by road to Kanyemba Lodge, about 3 hours away. Located in the Chiawa GMA, 45 km from Lower Zambezi National Park, the lodge is set right on the riverbank. After check-in, relax and enjoy the river views, warm hospitality, and delicious local cuisine.

Day 2–3: Choose Your Adventure – Safari, Canoeing, or Cruising

Over the next two days, choose two guided activities per day. Options include:

A full-day game drive inside Lower Zambezi National Park with a picnic lunch (includes boat ride to and from the park).
A peaceful canoe safari down the Zambezi River.
A walking safari to explore the bush on foot.
A village and banana farm visit for a cultural touch.
Fishing excursions (note: not available Dec 1–Feb 28).
River cruises to spot hippos, elephants, and birds.
