Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve
Depart from Nairobi in the morning and drive north to Samburu Game Reserve (approx. 5 hours). Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive at 4:00 PM. Keep your eyes peeled for unique northern species such as the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and gerenuk. Elephants with red-tinged dust coats and crocodiles in the Ewaso Nyiro River are also commonly seen.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the scenic and less crowded Samburu Reserve. This region is known for its predators – lions, leopards, and cheetahs – as well as dramatic landscapes. Midday can be spent relaxing due to high temperatures. A visit to a Samburu village (optional and at a small extra fee) can be arranged.

Day 3: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy near Nanyuki (approx. 2.5 hours). Check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch, followed by a game drive in the afternoon. Visit the chimpanzee sanctuary and see endangered white rhinos. You may opt for a night game drive at an extra cost.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Lake Naivasha
Depart after breakfast for Lake Naivasha (approx. 5 hours). Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the lake to spot hippos and various bird species, followed by a walking safari on Crescent Island among zebras, giraffes, and antelopes (no predators).

Days 5–7: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
After breakfast, drive to the Masai Mara and check in at your lodge. Spend the next three days exploring this world-famous reserve. You may choose full-day game drives with picnic lunches or split the drives between morning and afternoon. Optional activities include a hot air balloon safari (extra cost) or a cultural visit to a Maasai village to learn about their traditions (also at an additional cost).

Day 8: Masai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi. You’ll be dropped off at the airport or your hotel depending on your travel plans. Lunch on this day is not included but can be arranged on request.
