This scenic drive takes five to six hours through rolling landscapes and rural countryside, offering a glimpse of authentic Kenyan life.
Check into iKWETA Safari Camp and enjoy lunch before your first afternoon game drive. Meru is a hidden gem known for its raw wilderness and is also celebrated in Joy Adamson’s book Born Free, the story of Elsa the lioness. Here, you’ll encounter elephants, hippos, and predators as the sun sets over the horizon. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Full Day in Meru National Park
After breakfast, spend a full day exploring Meru National Park, a rare highlight of any Kenya Safari Package. This park is home to elephants, Grevy’s zebras, lions, cheetahs, leopards, reticulated giraffes, hartebeests, and buffaloes.
Meru also has one of the best rhino sanctuaries in Kenya, where both black and white rhinos are protected. Its rivers support crocodiles, hippos, and a variety of fish species, while birdwatchers can enjoy sightings of Pel’s fishing owl, kingfishers, bee-eaters, and starlings. After morning and afternoon game drives, return to camp for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 3: Meru to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Today, your Kenya Safari Package continues with a drive to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a leading conservation area situated at the foothills of Mount Kenya. After check-in and lunch at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, embark on a game drive in this pristine conservancy.
Ol Pejeta is home to the Big Five, as well as chimpanzees, gazelles, ostriches, jackals, oryx, and elands. It is also famous for being the last refuge of the world’s remaining northern white rhinos. With a mix of wildlife diversity and groundbreaking conservation projects, Ol Pejeta provides one of the most enriching safari experiences in Kenya.

Day 4: Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a popular stop on any Kenya Safari Package. On arrival, check into Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge before setting out on an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru is world-renowned for its flocks of pink flamingos that fringe its alkaline waters, alongside pelicans, herons, and over 350 bird species. The park also shelters endangered black and white rhinos, as well as lions, leopards, giraffes, and waterbucks. Explore Baboon Cliff and Lion Hill before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve
This morning, continue your Kenya Safari Package to the legendary Maasai Mara, Kenya’s premier wildlife destination. Stop briefly in Narok before arriving at Mara Sopa Lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the vast Mara plains. Known as the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti, the Maasai Mara is famed for its Big Five population and seasonal wildebeest migration, considered one of the world’s most spectacular natural events. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Full-Day Safari in Maasai Mara
Rise early for a full-day safari in the Maasai Mara, centerpiece of any Kenya Safari Package. Birdwatchers will also be delighted by over 500 recorded bird species, including eagles, vultures, and storks.
