Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Your Tanzania tour begins with a pickup from Kilimanjaro Airport or your hotel in Arusha. After a briefing from your safari guide, you’ll set off towards the Serengeti, carrying packed lunches to enjoy along the way. The drive itself offers stunning landscapes and glimpses of wildlife before you even enter the park.
By afternoon, you’ll begin your first Serengeti game drive, exploring the endless savannah plains dotted with acacia trees. Expect close encounters with elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and perhaps even lions or leopards lounging in the shade. If traveling during the Great Migration season, you’ll witness one of nature’s greatest spectacles—millions of wildebeest and thousands of zebras and gazelles on the move.
After enjoying a breathtaking African sunset, you’ll head to your camp for dinner and overnight at Embalakai Tented Camp, nestled in the wilderness.

Day 2: Full Day Serengeti National Park Safari
On day two of your Tanzania tour, wake up early for a sunrise game drive—the best time to spot predators hunting. After breakfast, set out for a full-day safari across the Serengeti’s diverse landscapes. The Seronera Valley is especially rich in wildlife, with lions, cheetahs, and leopards often seen in action.
At midday, return to camp for a hot lunch, then head back out for an afternoon game drive. This allows you to explore different areas of the park and spot animals you may have missed the previous day. Keep your camera ready for elephants roaming the grasslands, hippos wallowing in pools, and giraffes browsing treetops.
As the day winds down, enjoy another dramatic Serengeti sunset before returning to Embalakai Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti to Arusha / Kilimanjaro Airport
After breakfast, set out for a final morning game drive. This last safari offers another chance to spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as hyenas, jackals, and more plains game. The early hours are full of action as predators patrol and herds gather at waterholes.
With packed lunches, you’ll continue your game drive en route to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport (KIA), marking the end of your incredible Tanzania tour. Though short, this safari leaves you with unforgettable memories of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve.
