Day 1: Kampala/Entebbe – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Your driver-guide will pick you up from Entebbe Airport or your hotel in Kampala to begin your Uganda tour into the lush highlands of Bwindi. The drive takes you through rolling hills, rural villages, and banana plantations, with a stop at the Equator for photos. You’ll also enjoy a lunch stop en route before continuing through scenic landscapes of southwestern Uganda. Arrive at Bwindi in the evening, check into your lodge, and relax ahead of the gorilla trek adventure.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You’ll then begin your gorilla trekking expedition, hiking through dense rainforest trails in search of a gorilla family. Once located, spend a magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat – an emotional and unforgettable highlight of any Uganda tour. After your trek, receive a gorilla tracking certificate before returning to your lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Day 3: Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before driving north toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey is filled with scenic views of crater lakes, savannah grasslands, and villages. Upon arrival, check in and relax before heading out for an evening game drive. This first wildlife encounter may reveal elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and perhaps even a pride of lions. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Start your day with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best areas for wildlife viewing in Queen Elizabeth. Expect to see lions stalking prey, herds of elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes, and colorful bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a two-hour boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lake George and Lake Edward. The channel is famous for its massive hippo population, basking crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. This activity is a highlight of your Uganda tours experience.

Day 5: Katwe Salt Lakes / Game Drive – Return to Kampala or Entebbe

Capture your last safari photos before beginning the drive back to Kampala or Entebbe.
