Your day begins with a pickup from your lodge or accommodation in Maun. You’ll be transferred to the southern tip of the Okavango Delta, where you’ll meet your mokoro polers (local guides).

Start your morning with a light breakfast (tea/coffee, fruits, cereals, juice), followed by a relaxing mokoro ride through the Delta’s serene, papyrus-lined channels. Watch for aquatic birdlife, small plains game, and maybe even elephants or hippos nearby.

Arriving at an island, you’ll embark on a guided nature walk—a unique chance to track wildlife like zebra, giraffe, elephant, and more on foot. Your guide will then select a scenic spot for a packed picnic lunch before heading back by mokoro to your starting point.

Transfer back to Maun in the late afternoon where your safari ends.
