Day 1: Maun to Boteti River (Kumaga National Park)
Your Luxury Botswana Safari guide will pick you up from your lodge in Maun. You’ll travel ~145 km to the Boteti River area of Kumaga National Park, with a stop for packed breakfast en route. Upon arrival, you’ll settle into your wilderness campsite for 2 nights and enjoy an afternoon game drive.

Day 2: Full Day at Boteti River (Kumaga National Park)
Early Luxury BotswanaSafari morning game drive to spot wildlife like elephants, lions, and zebras along the Boteti River. Return for a hearty breakfast, followed by relaxation and a visit to a nearby waterhole. Afternoon game drive with sundowners.

Day 3: Boteti to Nxai Pan National Park
Morning game drive followed by breakfast and camp breakdown. On the way to Nxai Pan, you’ll stop at the famous Baines Baobabs for lunch and photos. Continue into the park for an afternoon game drive.

Day 4: Nxai Pan to Ntwetwe Salt Pan (Makgadikgadi)
After a morning game drive and breakfast, transfer toward the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, passing through Gweta Village. In the evening, sleep under the stars on Ntwetwe Pan after a starlit dinner and stories around the fire.
Special Experience: Personal encounter with semi-habituated meerkats.
Accommodation: Mid-range camping on the salt pan (sleep-out experience)
Day 5: Sunrise & Meerkats → Return to Maun
Wake early for a surreal sunrise and close-up encounter with the meerkats. After a light breakfast, you’ll return to Maun for drop-off at your Luxury Botswana Safari lodge or the airport.
