Day 1: Arrival in Maun
Arrive at Maun International Airport, where a guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for the night (bed and breakfast, meals at your own expense). You can relax, swim, or choose an optional scenic flight over the Okavango Delta (own expense).
Day 2: Maun to Nxai Pan National Park
After breakfast, drive to Nxai Pan National Park with packed lunches and snacks. Once at the park, settle into your camp and enjoy an afternoon game drive to Baines Baobabs. These iconic trees, made famous by artist Thomas Baines in 1862, stand beside a seasonal lagoon that attracts abundant birdlife during the rainy months. Return to camp for a shower and dinner under the stars.

Day 3: Nxai Pan to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park
Start the day with a warm bucket shower and breakfast before heading to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Enjoy a scenic game drive to your campsite, followed by lunch and optional siesta. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive focusing on unique desert species like meerkats, bat-eared foxes, and brown hyenas. End the day with stargazingโan unforgettable experience in this light-free, remote landscape.

Day 4: Makgadikgadi to Central Kalahari Game Reserve
After breakfast, journey to the vast Central Kalahari Game Reserve, home to springbok, gemsbok, eland, and the iconic black-maned lions. Youโll spend your final safari night camping here, tracking predators like wild dogs, cheetahs, and brown hyenas in one of Africaโs most remote wilderness areas.

Day 5: Return to Maun
