Keep an eye out for elephants, giraffes, lions, and the elusive African wild dog. The landscape is as stunning as the wildlife, with large wooded islands and glistening water channels. Each day ends with a campfire, refreshments, and a hearty dinner under the stars.

Day 5: Transfer from Xakanaxa to Khwai
After an early breakfast, depart on a slow, scenic drive northeast to the Khwai Community Area. Travel along the Manuchira Channelโalso known as the Khwai Riverโand enjoy sightings of hippos, elephants, and stunning birdlife. Stop at Dombo Hippo Pools before continuing to your new campsite in Khwai. After settling in, enjoy lunch and an afternoon game drive before another evening of dining beneath the night sky.

Day 6: Khwai Exploration
Delve into the diverse habitats of Khwai, including riverbanks, savannahs, and mopane forests. This area is known for high predator concentrations, with frequent sightings of lions, leopards, cheetahs, and even wild dogs. You’ll also encounter antelope species such as kudu, sable, waterbuck, and tsessebe. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and relaxation around the campfire.

Day 7: Khwai & Mokoro Safari
After a light early breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in search of the “Big Cats” while they’re most active.
