Day 1: Arrival – Transfer to Hwange + Afternoon Game Drive
Upon landing at Victoria Falls International Airport, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to Hwange Safari Lodge (approx. 2 hours) for your Botswana safari package. After settling in, enjoy a late afternoon game drive within the Hwange Safari Lodge estate, which borders the national park. With no fences, wildlife roams freely between the two areas—keep an eye out for big cats!

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Hwange National Park
Enjoy a full day of exploration in Hwange National Park, known for one of the world’s largest elephant populations. Using the Main Camp entrance, your guide will lead you to key game-viewing areas and scenic platforms. A picnic lunch, drinks, and snacks are provided as you immerse yourself in this wildlife haven.

Day 3: More Hwange Wildlife Encounters
Another full day of thrilling wildlife viewing! You’ll return to your favorite areas or explore new ones based on the previous day’s sightings. Hwange often surprises with rare species like sable antelope or cheetah.

Day 4: Hwange to Victoria Falls + Guided Falls Tour + Sunset Cruise
After breakfast, drive 2 hours back to Victoria Falls. After check-in at A’Zambezi River Lodge, visit the famous Victoria Falls for a guided walking tour (approx. 2 km, 2 hrs). Later in the afternoon, enjoy some souvenir shopping at the open-air curio markets before embarking on a Zambezi River sunset cruise—a highlight of any trip. Enjoy snacks and sundowners as the sun dips behind the horizon.

Day 5: Full-Day Safari in Chobe National Park (Botswana)
Depart early for a cross-border day safari into Botswana’s Chobe National Park. Start with a 3-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River, where you’ll see hippos, crocodiles, and elephants from a unique water-level perspective. After a buffet lunch at Chobe Safari Lodge, continue with a 3-hour 4×4 game drive into Chobe’s upper regions—ideal for predator sightings. Return to Victoria Falls by evening.

Day 6: Departure Day
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Victoria Falls International Airport in time for your outbound flight. Depending on your schedule, you may have time for optional morning activities (e.g. helicopter flight, village tour). Your Botswana safari package guide will ensure a smooth check-in at the airport.
