Mara Maisha Camp is a luxury tented camp located just 4.5km from Talek Gate of the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. It offers fully furnished luxurious units complete with dining & bar facilities.

Accommodation and Facilities

Mara Maisha Camp has 73 self-contained tents and they are able to accommodate guests as per their preferences that is 20 Singles/Twins, 38 Doubles, 9 Triples, 6 Family Tents (two ensuite rooms within one tent – max 5 pax). The beds have been custom designed, and are locally made using bush logs. All tents have a flush toilet, hot shower, mosquito nets, clothes rack, carpet, a writing desk and wash basin. Facilities include Free WIFI, 24- hour security, Gift shop, Restaurant& bar, swimming pool, massage parlor, Conference room and cots and additional beds.

Dining and Cuisine

Dine in our open-terraced restaurant overlooking glorious sunrises and the sunsets. The camp also serves buffet and à la carte meals, with the option for bush dining under the stars for a unique experience. Our camp chef will pamper you with fine cuisines. Fruits and vegetables are served fresh as they are picked from our very own farm. Special meal requirements are met on request (e.g. vegetarian).

The superbly designed bar is stocked with imported and local liqueurs along with chilled beers, sodas, and fresh juices. A fireplace adds to the ambience and comfort on chilly nights.

How to get there

From Nairobi Haile Selassie Avenue and Ngong Rd, follow Southern Bypass A104 and Kamandura Mai Mahiu-Narok Rd 58.2km to Mai Mahiu. To reach Mara Maisha Camp by flight you’ll need to fly from Wilson Airport (WIL) to one of the airstrips near the camp, such as the one at Mara Serena or Keekorok, and then take a transfer by vehicle to the camp.

Each tent features a flush toilet, hot shower with solar-heated water, mosquito-netted beds, a writing desk, wash basin, clothing rack, private veranda, power sockets, and bottled water. Cots and extra beds are available upon request.
