Accommodation & Facilities

It features 21 twin rooms and nine double rooms, all of which are furnished with handmade furniture. Each room offers a private balcony with beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley. The handcrafted hardwood furniture, contemporary en-suite bathrooms, and large four-poster mattresses provide for an enjoyable stay. The linking doors in certain lodge rooms make them perfect for gatherings of people. The rooms are further divided into different villas: Longonot Villa and Aberdare Villa. Each Longonot duplex villa features three floors: two large en-suite Standard Rooms on the lower level, which open out to a private garden, and a deluxe suite with a gallery en-suite bedroom and a living area, as well as a kitchenette and dining area on the upper level. Each chalet has two to four bedrooms, a fully furnished kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge. Most have an outdoor barbecue grill, which is perfect for reunions and vacations with friends and family. The Great Rift Valley offers modern amenities suitable for a hotel stay.

How to Get There

Great Rift Valley Lodge is situated on the side of the Eburu escarpment, offering a stunning view of the sparkling waters of Lake Naivasha. There are two ways to reach there;

1. By Road.

It is approximately 109 km from Nairobi, with a travel time of 1.5 hours, depending on the road conditions. The route commonly used is Nairobi-Naivasha.

2. By air.

Flight details. 

Airlines such as Safari Link, Air Kenya, and Mombasa Air Safari offer daily flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. The lodge has its all-weather airstrip.
