Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide from Nsavi Safaris. They will transfer you to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay. Depending on your arrival time, you may opt to explore Entebbe in the afternoon or simply unwind at the hotel.

Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most scenic wildlife reserve. On the way, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking safari to see southern white rhinos. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls and check in at your lodge. If time allows, enjoy a short evening game drive.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Safari to the Bottom of the Falls
Start the day with an early morning game drive through the savannah, looking for lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, hyenas, and more. Later in the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Nile River to the bottom of the powerful Murchison Falls, where the river squeezes through a narrow 7-meter gorge. Enjoy the views and wildlife along the riverbanks before returning to the lodge.

Day 4: Top of the Falls & Drive to Kibale National Park
In the morning, visit the top of Murchison Falls for a closer look at this natural wonder. Then drive toward Kibale National Park, with a lunch stop in Fort Portal—a town near the majestic Rwenzori Mountains. On the way, enjoy views of tea plantations and rural Uganda. Later in the afternoon, take a walk through Bigodi Swamp, known for birdlife and community conservation projects.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, head into Kibale Forest for your chimpanzee trekking experience. You’ll spend time watching these intelligent primates swing, groom, and play in the trees. In the afternoon, travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its wide variety of wildlife and scenic landscapes. After arriving, check in and relax at the lodge.

Day 6: Lion Tracking & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start with a lion tracking experience led by a ranger using GPS to locate a lion pride. You’ll also see other wildlife like elephants, buffalo, hyenas, antelopes, and possibly leopards. Later, visit the Katwe salt lakes, then return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and plenty of bird species.

Day 7: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the largest population of mountain gorillas in the world. Along the way, enjoy views of rolling hills and rural communities. Bwindi also offers excellent birding, with species like the bar-tailed trogon and blue-throated broadbill. Arrive at your lodge and relax as you prepare for the gorilla trek the next day.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning your gorilla trekking adventure. This experience can take 2–7 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once you find a family, you’ll spend one magical hour watching them up close in their natural habitat. It’s one of the most emotional and unforgettable wildlife experiences on Earth.

Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Leave Bwindi and head to Lake Mburo National Park, a small but beautiful park filled with antelopes, zebras, and elands. As you enter the park, enjoy a short game drive before checking into your lodge for the night.

Day 10: Nature Walk & Departure
Begin your final day with a guided nature walk, where you’ll get a chance to walk among giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife on foot. On the way back to Entebbe, stop at the Equator for photos and a lunch break. You’ll then continue to the airport for your evening flight back home, ending your memorable Ugandan adventure.
