Day 1: Kigali to Bwindi via Dian Fossey Campus
You’ll begin your journey with a scenic morning drive from Kigali through Rwanda’s hills. Stop for an educational tour at the Ellen DeGeneres Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund Campus to explore gorilla conservation history and Dian Fossey’s impact. After lunch at Migano Café, proceed to the Chanika border, clear immigration, and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Start the day with an early breakfast, then head to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing. With a ranger and guide, you’ll hike through the dense forest to find a gorilla family and spend one hour observing them in their natural habitat. This experience is often life-changing. Return to your lodge to relax after the trek.

Day 3: Local Coffee Experience in Kisoro
After breakfast, transfer to Kisoro and check in at your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a hands-on local coffee experience—learn the process from plant to cup, ending with a tasting and a souvenir pack of Ugandan organic coffee. Later, unwind with access to a swimming pool or spa.

Day 4: Mount Sabinyo Volcano Hike
Wake up early for a full-day guided hike up Mount Sabinyo. Begin your trek at 8:00 AM from Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Ascend through forest, bamboo zones, and rocky ridges with ladders—crossing three countries at the summit! Return in the evening exhausted but exhilarated.

Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi Boat Ride
After breakfast, depart for Lake Bunyonyi, known for its beauty and birdlife. Check in at your lakeside lodge, then enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake. Learn the history of the “Punishment Island” and take in the peaceful scenery.

Day 6: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depart Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast and journey north to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through scenic highlands and tea plantations. After checking in and lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi plains to spot lions, elephants, warthogs, and antelope.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trek & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari

Day 8: Scenic Transfer to Murchison Falls
Depart Queen Elizabeth after breakfast and travel to Murchison Falls National Park via Fort Portal and Kyenjojo. Arrive in the afternoon and check into your lodge. In the evening, visit the dramatic top of Murchison Falls to see the Nile explode through a narrow gorge.

Day 9: Game Drive & Boat Cruise on the Nile

Day 10: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Return to Entebbe
On your final day, journey to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track endangered white rhinos on foot with an expert guide. After the trek, continue to Entebbe with a stop for lunch. You’ll be dropped off at your accommodation or the airport in the evening.
