Crossing into Uganda, guests will enjoy mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a Batwa community visit, and a peaceful stay on Lake Bunyonyi. The adventure extends to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a classic wildlife safari and Kazinga Channel boat cruise, then concludes with a visit to Mabamba Swamp to spot the elusive shoebill stork before departing from Kampala. Details Itinerary

Arrival at Kigali International Airport. Meet your company representative for a warm welcome and assistance with migration procedures. Transfer to your hotel for overnight stay.

Accommodation: Chez Lando Hotel

After breakfast, drive to the Western Province. Visit the Royal Palace Museum for insights into Rwandaโ€™s ancient monarchy. Enjoy lunch en route, then continue to Nyungwe National Park. Check in at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Emeraude Kivu Resort

After early breakfast, transfer to Nyungwe National Park headquarters for briefing and chimpanzee trekking. Spend up to one hour with the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. After trekking, enjoy lunch and then take a canopy walk on a 90-meter-high suspended bridge, offering spectacular views of the forest. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Early breakfast then transfer to the Congo border. Complete migration procedures and continue to Kahuzi-Biega National Park for lowland gorilla trekking. Trekking duration is 2 to 4 hours depending on gorilla location. Spend one hour observing and photographing gorillas. Return to Rusizi for overnight.

After breakfast, transfer to Volcanoes National Park. En route, enjoy a 2-hour boat ride on Lake Kivu, known for its beautiful scenery and rich birdlife. After lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Volcanoes National Park for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

Accommodation: La Palme Hotel

After breakfast, transfer to park headquarters for briefing before trekking golden monkeys. Trekking can last 2-6 hours depending on movement and group pace. Spend one hour with the monkeys. After lunch, visit a local cultural village to experience Rwandan traditions and lifestyle. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. Complete border crossing procedures. Upon arrival, meet your driver/guide, check in to lodge, and have lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community for cultural interaction. Return to lodge for leisure, dinner, and overnight.

Accommodation: Rushaga Gorilla Lodge

Early morning briefing followed by gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest. Spend one hour with the gorillas. After trekking, return for lunch, then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Check in, dinner, and overnight.

Accommodation: Lake Bunyonyi Rock Resort

After breakfast, take a boat ride exploring Lake Bunyonyi and its 29 islands, home to many bird species. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for check-in, dinner, and overnight.

Accommodation: Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive seeking elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, hippos, and various antelope species. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight.

Morning boat cruise along Kazinga Channel to observe birds and wildlife such as buffalos, crocodiles, and hippos. After lunch, transfer to Kampala for dinner and overnight.

Accommodation: Papyrus Guest House

Visit Mabamba Swamp to see the rare shoebill stork. Afterward, visit Kampala Botanic Gardens featuring diverse flora. Transfer to airport for your departure flight.
