Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you can visit the Giraffe Centre, the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, or the Nairobi National Museum. Overnight at Fairview Hotel.
Day 2–4: Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya
Travel by road to Ol Pejeta Conservancy (approx. 4 hours). Settle in at Sweetwaters Serena Camp. Spend two full days exploring the conservancy, visiting the rhino sanctuary where the last two northern white rhinos live. Go on Big Five game drives and visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Learn about the region’s exceptional conservation work. Overnight at Sweetwaters Serena Camp.
Day 5–6: Kigali, Rwanda
Fly from Nairobi to Kigali. Explore the Kigali Genocide Memorial, bustling local markets, and art galleries like the Inema Arts Centre. On Day 6, enjoy a full day in Kigali or take an optional trip to Nyungwe Forest for birdwatching or to Lake Kivu for a scenic excursion. Overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel.
Day 7–8: Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda
Drive to Volcanoes National Park (approx. 3 hours). Check into Virunga Lodge. On Day 8, set off early for an incredible trek to see endangered mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. After the trek, you may visit Dian Fossey’s grave or enjoy the beautiful scenery around Lake Ruhondo. Overnight at Virunga Lodge.
Day 9–11: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Uganda
Transfer by road to Bwindi in Uganda (approx. 4–5 hours). Stay at Buhoma Lodge. The next day, head out for gorilla trekking in Bwindi’s dense jungle. Later, visit the Batwa community or enjoy a guided nature walk. On Day 11, relax at Lake Bunyonyi with optional boat rides or swimming. Overnight at Buhoma Lodge.
Day 12–13: Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Fly from Uganda or Rwanda to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park (via Entebbe or Arusha). Check in at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge. Enjoy an afternoon and full-day game drive across the iconic Serengeti plains, home to lions, leopards, elephants, and the Great Migration. Optional hot air balloon ride available. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 14: Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania
Drive to the Ngorongoro Crater (approx. 4 hours). Descend into the crater for game viewing, where you might spot lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras, and flamingos in a single day. Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge.
Day 15: Arusha & Departure
Drive to Arusha (approx. 3 hours). Enjoy lunch and optional cultural shopping at the Cultural Heritage Centre. In the afternoon, catch your flight to Nairobi to connect with your international flight home.
