Day 1: Arrival and Kampala City Tour
After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Entebbe. You’ll explore Kampala, Uganda’s lively capital, with visits to cultural and historic attractions. Later, relax at the Botanical Gardens before checking in at the UWEC Bandas for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mabamba Swamp Canoe Ride
Today, you’ll travel to Mabamba Swamp for a peaceful canoe ride in search of the rare shoebill stork. After lunch by the water, you’ll return to Kampala and check in for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Sipi Falls Hike
Head east to Kapchorwa on the slopes of Mount Elgon. After checking into your lodge and enjoying lunch, take a scenic hike to Sipi Falls and soak in the sunset views before heading back to your lodge.

Day 4: Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park
After breakfast, begin the long drive north to Kidepo Valley National Park. On arrival, check into your lodge and relax for the evening.

Day 5: Game Drive in Kidepo
Start your day with an early game drive to see animals when they are most active. Return for lunch, then visit the Kanangorok hot springs in the afternoon where you may spot ostriches and other birds.

Day 6: Morungule Mountain Hike and Evening Safari
Today includes a guided hike up Morungule Mountain with incredible views of the park and even across into South Sudan. Later, enjoy an evening game drive before returning to camp.

Day 7: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park
Depart for Murchison Falls, Uganda’s largest and oldest park. You’ll arrive in the evening, check into your lodge, and rest up for the next day’s adventure.

Day 8: Safari and Nile Boat Cruise
Begin early with a game drive to see elephants, giraffes, lions, and perhaps leopards. After lunch, cruise the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls and hike to the top to witness the powerful waterfall and rainbow mist.

Day 9: Drive to Kibale Forest
Travel southwest toward Kibale National Park with a lunch stop in Fort Portal, a scenic town near the Rwenzori Mountains. Continue on to your lodge and settle in for the night.

Day 10: Semuliki Hot Springs and Crater Lake Hike
Visit Semuliki National Park to see the bubbling Sempaya hot springs and rare birds. After lunch, enjoy a scenic hike around the crater lakes before returning to Kibale.

Day 11: Chimpanzee Tracking
Start the day with a briefing before tracking chimpanzees in Kibale Forest. After lunch, visit Lake Nkuruba to enjoy views of the crater lakes and relax in nature.

Day 12: Queen Elizabeth and Kazinga Channel
Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to see hippos, buffaloes, and water birds. In the evening, take a short game drive through Kasenyi.

Day 13: Ishasha Sector and Transfer to Bwindi
Head to the Ishasha sector, known for tree-climbing lions. Keep an eye out as you drive through on your way to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, where you’ll spend the night.

Day 14: Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi
Today is a highlight—gorilla trekking in Bwindi. After an early hike through the forest with experienced guides, spend a magical hour with a gorilla family. After the trek, drive to the peaceful shores of Lake Bunyonyi to relax.

Day 15: Lake Bunyonyi to Lake Mburo
After a relaxing morning canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi, head to Lake Mburo National Park. Pitch your tent at the UWA camping grounds and go for an evening game drive.

Day 16: Lake Mburo Safari and Boat Cruise
Wake up to birdsong and enjoy a morning game drive to see zebras, antelopes, and more. After lunch, take a peaceful boat cruise on Lake Mburo to spot hippos, birds, and crocodiles.

Day 17: Return to Entebbe
Say goodbye to the wild as you drive back to Entebbe. Along the way, stop at the Uganda Equator for photos and souvenir shopping before being dropped off in the city or at the airport.
