Your journey begins at 8:00 AM when our guide picks you up from your accommodation. After a warm welcome, you’ll start the drive to Bwindi, with scenic stops along the way. One highlight of the day is a tour of the Dian Fossey Ellen DeGeneres Campus, where you’ll learn about groundbreaking gorilla conservation work. Lunch will be enjoyed at Migano Café in Musanze. Afterward, you’ll proceed to the Chanika border, where our guide will assist with crossing formalities. Upon arrival in Bwindi, you’ll check in at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge. In the evening, your guide will brief you on what to expect during the gorilla trek before you enjoy dinner and rest for the night

Your day begins early, with breakfast at 6:30 AM before heading to the park gate. There, our guide will assist with registration as you enjoy a cultural performance by a local dance group. A Uganda Wildlife Authority guide will then give a briefing and assign you to a trekking group. You’ll set off into the forest for the once-in-a-lifetime experience of tracking and observing mountain gorillas. After the trek, you’ll receive a certificate to commemorate your adventure. The trip concludes with a scenic drive back to Kigali.
