Day 1: Kampala – Kibale National Park
Your Africa safari tour begins with a morning pick-up in Kampala. Drive westward through Mityana, Mubende, and Fort Portal, where rolling hills, tea plantations, and rural villages showcase Uganda’s natural beauty. Stop for lunch en route before continuing to Kibale National Park. On arrival, check into your lodge, relax, and soak in the serene forest atmosphere as you prepare for the next day’s chimpanzee trekking adventure.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Nature Walk
Start with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Venture into Kibale’s rainforest on a guided trek in search of habituated chimpanzees. Once located, spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural environment—watching as they play, feed, and communicate.
Return to your lodge for lunch and later explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation project. This guided walk offers sightings of black-and-white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, and over 138 bird species, including the Great Blue Turaco. The experience not only supports conservation but also directly benefits the local community.

Day 3: Kibale – Return to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, depart Kibale National Park with lasting memories of your chimpanzee trekking experience.
