Day 1: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Ravina Tours guide will pick you up and take you to Entebbe Airport for your flight to Bwindi. You’ll land at Kihihi (or Kisoro for the southern part of the park), where another guide will meet and transfer you to your lodge.
There are two daily flights from Entebbe:
- Morning flight: 7:45 AM
- Afternoon flight: 12:30 PM
(Flights to Kisoro only depart in the morning due to weather conditions.)
Once at the lodge, you can relax or take part in optional activities like a forest walk or a visit to the local Batwa community.
Accommodation: Bwindi Lodge
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Experience
After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the park headquarters for a short briefing before beginning your gorilla trek at 8:00 AM.
With guides and porters, you’ll hike through dense forest and steep hills in search of a gorilla family. The trek can take anywhere from 1 to 7 hours, depending on the gorillas’ location.
Once found, you’ll spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants up close. This is a rare and unforgettable wildlife encounter—only about 880 mountain gorillas remain in the world, and Uganda offers one of the best chances to see them (over 90% success rate).
Accommodation: Bwindi Lodge
Day 3: Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, you’ll fly back to Entebbe from Kihihi or Kisoro airstrip.
- If you have a connecting flight, you’ll continue your journey home.
- If you’re staying longer, you can transfer to a hotel in Entebbe or Kampala.
Optional activities if extending your stay:

Visit Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary
Explore Kampala or the Uganda Wildlife Education Center
Enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Victoria
