Day 1: Flight to Kidepo & First Game Drive
Take an afternoon flight from Entebbe International Airport to Kidepo Valley National Park. Enjoy beautiful aerial views as you fly over northern Uganda. Once you arrive, check into your lodge and head out for an evening game drive to see your first wildlife.
After dark, go on a night game drive to spot nocturnal animals, including cats like lions and leopards, which are more active at night.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Kidepo
Enjoy a full day of game drives. Start with the Narus Valley, where water is available year-round, attracting many animals like buffaloes, antelopes, elephants, and predators.
In the afternoon, visit the more remote Kidepo Valley in the north. It’s drier and has fewer animals but stunning views, dry riverbeds, hot springs, and mountain scenery.

Day 3: Karamoja Culture or Optional Mountain Hike
Visit a traditional Karamojong homestead to learn about their lifestyle, culture, and traditions. See their unique homes and enjoy a traditional dance performance.
Optional activity:
If you enjoy hiking, take a full-day trek up Mount Morungole to visit the remote Ik community. The Ik are a small, isolated group with a unique culture that’s very different from the rest of Uganda.

Day 4: Return to Entebbe
Start the day with a light nature walk to enjoy the scenery and possibly spot more animals. In the afternoon, take your flight back to Entebbe International Airport, ending your safari adventure.
