Your safari begins with a pick-up from the airport or your Nairobi hotel. You’ll drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. After a mid-morning game drive, enjoy lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. In the afternoon, explore the park in search of black and white rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, buffalo, flamingos, and possibly leopards hiding under the acacia trees. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast, you’ll depart for the Masai Mara via the town of Narok, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. The Masai Mara is home to the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—along with cheetahs, giraffes, and countless antelope species. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp.

Today, enjoy a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara. After breakfast, set out with a picnic lunch for an extended safari across the rolling grasslands. You’ll visit the Mara River, where you may see hippos, crocodiles, and—during migration season (August to October)—the dramatic wildebeest crossings. The Masai Mara’s abundant wildlife offers a chance to witness thrilling predator-prey interactions. Return to Ashnil Mara Camp for dinner and overnight. Optional hot air balloon safaris are available at extra cost.

Depending on your flight schedule, you may go on an early morning game drive before breakfast. Afterward, you’ll drive back to Nairobi, where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your 4-day safari adventure.
