Arrive at the Masai Mara in time for lunch at your camp. After settling in and taking some time to relax, head out at around 4:00 pm for your first afternoon game drive, continuing until approximately 6:30 pm.
The afternoon safari provides an opportunity to explore the open savannah and begin searching for the Mara’s diverse wildlife. Look out for elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, and other animals that inhabit the reserve. As the sun begins to lower, the changing light across the grasslands creates a beautiful setting for photography and wildlife viewing before returning to camp for the evening.
