Depart Nairobi at around 6:00 AM and begin your journey north through the scenic landscapes of central Kenya. Along the way, make a short stop at the Nanyuki Equator line for a photo opportunity and a brief demonstration before continuing toward Samburu National Reserve.
Arrive at Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch and enjoy some time to relax while taking in the beautiful surroundings. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across Samburu’s rugged wilderness.
Explore the reserve in search of the Big Five and Samburu’s distinctive wildlife, including Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. The reserve’s dramatic scenery and riverine landscapes provide an excellent setting for wildlife viewing. After the game drive, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, set out on a morning game drive to explore more of Samburu National Reserve. Follow the Ewaso Nyiro River, an important water source for wildlife, where you may see elephants gathering near the riverbanks and other animals coming to drink.
Return to the lodge for lunch and some leisure time, with an opportunity to swim, relax, or enjoy optional activities. Later in the afternoon, head back into the reserve for another exciting game drive.
Continue searching for the Big Five as well as Samburu’s famous Special Five: the Beisa oryx, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, gerenuk, and Somali ostrich. The afternoon light creates excellent conditions for wildlife viewing and photography. After the drive, return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before checking out and beginning the journey to Lake Nakuru. The drive takes approximately 5–6 hours and passes through scenic countryside, agricultural areas, and the spectacular landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Lunch will be taken along the way.
Upon arrival, proceed for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Explore the park’s diverse habitats while looking for rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, baboons, and other wildlife. Depending on conditions, you may also see flamingos around the lake.
After the game drive, leave the park and proceed to your accommodation for check-in. Enjoy dinner and settle in for a comfortable overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru and continue toward the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through Maasai communities and scenic landscapes, with a stop in Narok before continuing toward the reserve.
Arrive at your camp in time for lunch and take some time to relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive.
Explore the vast Mara plains in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and other wildlife. The Mara River is one of the reserve’s important wildlife areas and is also associated with the seasonal wildebeest migration.
As evening approaches, return to Enkorok Mara Camp for dinner and a relaxing evening around the camp before your overnight stay.

After an early breakfast, leave the camp with a packed picnic lunch for a full-day game drive through the Masai Mara. Spend the day exploring the expansive savannah while searching for the Big Five, including lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffaloes.
The game drive also offers opportunities to encounter cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and many other species. Continue through the open plains and areas along the Mara River, where hippos and crocodiles can often be observed.
Enjoy your picnic lunch at a designated location within the reserve before continuing with the afternoon wildlife drive. Take time to appreciate the scenery, observe animal behaviour, and capture memorable photographs.
As the day comes to an end, drive back to Enkorok Mara Camp for dinner and an evening of relaxation.

Wake up early and head out for a final morning game drive in the Masai Mara. This provides one last opportunity to experience the reserve and spot wildlife before leaving the safari destination.
Return to the camp for breakfast, check out, and begin the drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, lunch will be at your own expense. After lunch, you will be transferred to Nairobi Airport in time for your international flight, normally allowing approximately three hours before departure, or to your preferred Nairobi hotel.
