Once inside the park, the focus will be on tracking the Great Migrationโa once-in-a-lifetime experience where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles roam in search of water and fresh pasture. These immense herds attract a range of predators, offering a rare chance to witness wildlife action up close.

Day 2: Serengeti โ Following the Migration
After an early breakfast, youโll head out for a full-day game drive, focusing on the migration hotspots. From July to September, the herds gather around the Mara River, often resulting in dramatic and dangerous crossings where crocodiles and predators wait in ambush.
Lunch will be served picnic-style in the bush. The rest of the day will be spent either following the herds or searching for predator sightings such as lions or leopards in the trees.

Day 3: Serengeti โ Full Day Game Drive
Another full day in Serengeti to explore deeper or revisit the migration hotspots. Depending on the previous daysโ sightings, you may also focus on trying to complete the Big Fiveโlion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.
Your guide can tailor the day based on your preferences, whether itโs more time with the herds, predator tracking, or birdwatching.

Day 4: Serengeti โ Ngorongoro Crater โ Karatu
Early breakfast before starting a game drive en route to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On your way out of the park, you may visit Olduvai Gorge (optional), one of the worldโs most significant paleoanthropological sites.
Arrive at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for lunch and breathtaking views of the worldโs largest intact volcanic caldera. Later, continue to Karatu, stopping at the African Galleria for souvenir shopping if time allows.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater โ Tarangire National Park
Start the day with a descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife including rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers one of the best chances to spot all Big Five in a single game drive.

Day 6: Tarangire National Park โ Arusha
Enjoy a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its ancient baobab trees, and large elephant herds. With the Tarangire River providing year-round water, the park teems with wildlifeโlions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and over 500 species of birds.

Day 7: Arusha National Park โ Walking Safari & Departure
Spend your final day exploring Arusha National Park, a hidden gem often overlooked despite its beauty. Enjoy a game drive with views of Mount Meru, and on clear days, even Mount Kilimanjaro.
Highlights include the 7 Momela Lakes with flamingos and other water birds, the Fig Tree Arch, and sightings of giraffes, zebras, buffalos, and more.
Wrap up the day with a guided walking safari, an exciting way to experience the bush on foot under the protection of an armed ranger.
