Day 1: Travel to Kibale Forest National Park
Begin your adventure with a scenic drive to Kibale National Park, known for its lush tropical forest and diverse primate population. Along the way, enjoy views of rolling hills and tea plantations, with a lunch stop in Fort Portal. You’ll arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon and relax for the evening.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, join park rangers for a chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest, home to 13 primate species. After your forest adventure, enjoy lunch and then travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Entering the park, you’ll enjoy a short game drive before checking in for the night.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Rise early for a morning game drive across the savannah in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its large populations of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 4: Ishasha Sector & Drive to Bwindi
Today, head south through the Ishasha sector, a region known for its tree-climbing lions. Keep an eye out during a short game drive here. Continue on to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas and many Albertine Rift endemic birds. Arrive in time to settle in at your forest lodge.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
This is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, head to the gorilla trekking station for a briefing. You’ll then venture into the forest for a once-in-a-lifetime gorilla trekking experience. The trek can take 2–7 hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location. Once found, you’ll spend one incredible hour observing them in their natural habitat.

Day 6: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s smallest savannah park, famous for its large zebra population. On your way in, enjoy views of wildlife and take part in a short evening game drive before heading to your lodge for the night.

Day 7: Nature Walk & Return to Entebbe
Start the day with a guided nature walk and final game drive before breakfast. Then begin your return journey to Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for photos and lunch. You’ll arrive in time for your flight or transfer, marking the end of your unforgettable Uganda safari.
