Day 1: Arrival & Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
After arriving in Uganda, youโll meet your friendly guide who will help you get ready for the safari. Youโll buy essentials, like camera batteries or insect repellent, and can exchange money if needed.
Then, you’ll travel to Lake Mburo National Park, the closest savannah park to the capital. Youโll enjoy the scenery and check in at your lodge.

Day 2: Game Drive & Boat Ride
Start the day with a game drive to see animals like zebras, buffaloes, hyenas, and antelopes.
After breakfast and some rest, take a boat cruise on Lake Mburo to spot hippos, crocodiles, and birds. Then return to the lodge for dinner.

Day 3: Drive to Bwindi & Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the worldโs largest population of mountain gorillas. On the way, stop at Lake Bunyonyi, Africaโs second deepest lake.
Take a boat ride to explore the lakeโs 29 islands, including Punishment Island and Leprosy Island, both with unique histories.
After lunch by the lake, continue to Bwindi and check in at your lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest
After breakfast, head to the park offices for a briefing, then start your gorilla trek. A guide will take you through the forest, where you may also see monkeys and birds.
When you find a gorilla family, youโll spend one magical hour with them. After the trek (3โ5 hours), return to the lodge. You may also visit a local Batwa village in the afternoon.

Day 5: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Boat Cruise
Today youโll head to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and rich wildlife.
After lunch at the lodge, enjoy a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, where youโll see crocodiles, hippos, and many birds. Relax at the lodge in the evening.

Day 6: Game Drive, Transfer to Kibale & Cultural Visit
Begin with a morning game drive to see lions, leopards, hyenas, elephants, and more.
Then drive to Kibale National Park, known for its chimpanzees. On the way, enjoy views of crater lakes and tea plantations.
Stop at the Isunga community for traditional music and dance by the Batooro and Bakiga people. Head to your lodge for dinner.

Day 7: Chimpanzee Trekking & Return to Kampala
After breakfast, go on a chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest with a guide. Watch them feed, play, and interact in their natural home.
Afterward, check out and begin your drive back to Kampala or Entebbe, with a stop for lunch in Mubende. Your safari ends here.
