Day 1: Arrival and Pickup from Airport
Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, a Pamoja Tours and Travel representative will warmly greet you and transfer you to your hotel in Kampala. If you arrive early, you may opt for a city tour to explore Kampala’s rich history and culture, including landmarks like the ancient tombs of the Kabakas and the serene Bahai Temple. Kampala also offers a vibrant culinary scene for dining out. The transfer from the airport to the hotel takes about one hour.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast, your guide will meet you to give an overview of your safari. You will then embark on a scenic five-hour drive to Kibale National Park, passing through charming villages and lush green forests that hint at the natural wonders ahead. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and prepare to immerse yourself in the park’s rich wildlife.

Day 3: Chimp Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
Your day begins with an early briefing at Kibale Forest National Park. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you will trek through the forest to find and observe chimpanzees for about an hour. After lunch, enjoy a guided walk through the Bigodi Swamp, experiencing the local culture and beautiful landscapes of Uganda.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following breakfast, you will travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its abundance of wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, leopards, and more than 600 bird species. The park lies at the base of the Rwenzori Mountains, near Lakes Edward and George. Spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge within the park.

Day 5: Lion and Leopard Tracking and Afternoon Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel
Begin the day with an early morning safari drive to track lions and leopards with expert guides. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a natural waterway connecting Lakes George and Edward, home to a diverse array of wildlife both in water and on the shores.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
After breakfast, go on a morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park to spot elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of birds. Later, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park where you will check into your lodge, nestled in the heart of the forest.

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi and Batwa Cultural Experience
Following an early breakfast, you will be briefed before trekking to encounter Bwindi’s endangered mountain gorillas. The trek can last from two to seven hours depending on the gorillas’ location, with one hour allowed for observation. You will also experience the Batwa cultural trail, learning about the indigenous tribe’s history and traditions.

Day 8: Transfer Back to Entebbe for Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe Airport with a stop at the Equator for photos and souvenir shopping before continuing to the airport for your departure.
