After an early breakfast, your guide will meet you to give an overview of your safari. You will then embark on a scenic five-hour drive to Kibale National Park, passing through charming villages and lush green forests that hint at the natural wonders ahead. Your day begins with an early briefing at Kibale Forest National Park. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, you will trek through the forest to find and observe chimpanzees for about an hour. Following an early breakfast, you will be briefed before trekking to encounter Bwindi’s endangered mountain gorillas. The trek can last from two to seven hours depending on the gorillas’ location, with one hour allowed for observation.
