Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, depart Nairobi for Samburu National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive where you might spot Grevy’s zebras and Somali ostriches. Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Spend the day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. Seek out the “Samburu Special Five”: reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, Beisa oryx, and gerenuk. Midday is reserved for rest and lunch at the lodge, with a swim or relaxation before the afternoon drive.

Day 4: Samburu to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After breakfast, head south to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a haven for endangered species. After checking in at Serena Sweetwaters Camp, enjoy lunch before visiting the Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Experience the unique chance to witness conservation in action.

Day 5: Ol Pejeta to Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Ol Pejeta and drive through scenic terrain to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for lunch. Spend the afternoon spotting rhinos, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, and—when in season—thousands of pink flamingos at the lake’s edge.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Travel to the world-famous Maasai Mara. Stop briefly in Narok town before arriving at Mara Sopa Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy your first Mara game drive in search of lions, elephants, and more. Return for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Set out for a full day of game viewing with picnic lunches in the park. Your guide will help you explore the Mara’s vast plains, tracking the Big Five and, during the migration season, watching wildebeests cross the Mara River. Return to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 8: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
