Day 1: Arusha / Moshi to Arusha National Park
Your 7 Days Tanzania Tour begins with a warm welcome from your safari guide upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or pickup from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi. After a short briefing about the journey ahead, you will drive to Arusha National Park, a beautiful but often underrated park located at the base of Mount Meru.
The park offers an excellent introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes. You will enjoy a guided walking safari, giving you the chance to explore the environment on foot while observing giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and buffalo from a safe distance. This experience provides a unique perspective compared to traditional vehicle safaris. Later, continue with a game drive through the park where you may spot colobus monkeys swinging through the forest canopy and flamingos gathered around the peaceful Momella Lakes.
The scenery here is spectacular, with forested slopes, open plains, and volcanic craters creating a dramatic backdrop. After a rewarding day of exploration, drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, continue your Tanzania safari tour with a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located beneath the dramatic cliffs of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Though relatively small, the park is one of the most diverse ecosystems in Tanzania.
As you enter the park, dense groundwater forests filled with tall mahogany and fig trees give way to grassy plains and the shimmering alkaline lake. The park is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare behavior seen in only a few places in Africa. You may also encounter elephants walking through the forest, large herds of buffalo grazing on the plains, and hippos relaxing in shallow pools.
Bird lovers will find Lake Manyara particularly rewarding, with more than 400 bird species recorded in the park. Flamingos, pelicans, storks, and cormorants gather along the lakeshore, creating spectacular scenes of color and movement.
After an exciting afternoon game drive along the lake and through the woodlands, head to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti)
On the third day of your 7 Days Tanzania Tour, depart Lake Manyara and travel through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area on your way to the legendary Serengeti National Park.
Along the journey, you will stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important archaeological sites. Here, famous paleoanthropologists Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey discovered fossils that helped scientists better understand early human evolution.
Continuing your journey, you will descend onto the endless Serengeti plains, where your first game drive begins. The Seronera region, located in central Serengeti, is renowned for its year-round wildlife activity. Lions often lounge on rocky kopjes while cheetahs scan the open plains for prey.
After lunch and an exciting afternoon safari, head to your tented camp where you will enjoy dinner under the African sky and spend the night surrounded by the sounds of the wilderness.

Day 4: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Day four is dedicated to exploring the vast landscapes of Serengeti National Park, the highlight of many Tanzania tours. Early morning is the best time to witness predators in action, so you will depart for a sunrise game drive across the golden savannah.
Lions, leopards, and cheetahs are frequently spotted during these hours, while giraffes, zebras, elephants, and wildebeests roam the plains in large numbers. The Serengeti ecosystem supports one of the richest concentrations of wildlife on Earth, making every game drive unique and exciting.
At midday, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location within the park before continuing your afternoon exploration. Your guide will take you to different habitats, including river valleys and rocky outcrops where wildlife gathers.
As the sun sets over the endless plains, return to your camp for dinner and relaxation after a thrilling day of safari.

Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti before beginning the journey toward the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater.
Along the way you will once again pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where wildlife and traditional Maasai pastoralist communities coexist within the same landscape. The views from the crater rim are breathtaking, offering a panoramic look into the massive volcanic caldera below.
Later, descend into the crater for an unforgettable afternoon safari. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the best places in Africa to spot the Big Five, including the endangered black rhino. You may also encounter large herds of wildebeests and zebras grazing alongside predators such as lions and hyenas.
After an incredible day of wildlife viewing, drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater to Tarangire National Park
Your Tanzania tour continues with a morning safari inside the Ngorongoro Crater before traveling toward Tarangire National Park.
Tarangire is often called the “Park of Giants” due to its enormous baobab trees and large populations of elephants. During the dry season, hundreds of animals gather near the Tarangire River, creating exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities.
Game drives here reveal zebras, wildebeests, impalas, gazelles, and oryx roaming the plains, while predators such as lions and leopards occasionally appear. The park is also a paradise for birdwatchers, with hundreds of species inhabiting its wetlands and woodlands.
