Day 1: Arrival in Arusha & Meru Forest Exploration
Your Tanzania safari trip begins in Arusha, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After lunch, set off for an afternoon excursion into the Mount Meru Forest Reserve, a lush sanctuary at the base of Mount Meru.
Take a guided nature walk to discover smaller wildlife such as black-and-white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and a remarkable variety of forest birds. Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, a journey of about 2–3 hours. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees, which dominate the savannah landscape.
Upon arrival, begin your first exciting game drive across the park. Wildlife sightings often include elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, and predators such as lions and leopards. Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park
This morning, continue your Tanzania safari trip with a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a small but incredibly diverse park located beneath the dramatic cliffs of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
Enjoy a game drive through the park’s varied habitats including groundwater forests, grassy plains, and lakeshore wetlands. Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey offers breathtaking views of the crater highlands before descending onto the endless Serengeti plains.
Your first Serengeti game drive begins as soon as you enter the park. Vast savannahs stretch to the horizon, dotted with acacia trees and rocky kopjes where lions often rest in the shade. Expect sightings of elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and large herds of wildebeest.

Day 5: Full Day Serengeti Exploration
Spend a full day exploring the incredible wildlife habitats of Serengeti National Park. Depending on the season, your guide may track the movements of the Great Wildebeest Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras travel across the plains in search of fresh grazing.
Morning and afternoon game drives reveal the Serengeti’s rich biodiversity. Lions lounge on kopjes while cheetahs scan the plains for prey. Leopards may be spotted resting in trees along riverbanks, while herds of elephants and buffalo roam the open grasslands.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing your exploration until sunset. Return to camp for dinner and another peaceful night in the Serengeti wilderness.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast and a final Serengeti game drive, travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The drive offers scenic views of rolling hills and volcanic landscapes that characterize this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Today you descend about 600 meters into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game drives. Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the crater hosts an extraordinary density of wildlife.
Within a single day, it is possible to see the entire Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino. Other animals commonly seen include hyenas, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and flamingos around Lake Magadi.
After a memorable day of wildlife viewing, ascend back to the crater rim and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Arusha & Departure
After breakfast, depart the Ngorongoro highlands for the return journey to Arusha, a scenic drive of approximately 3–4 hours. Along the way, you may stop at local craft markets where artisans sell handmade jewelry, carvings, and textiles.
Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight or to your hotel if you plan to extend your stay.
