Day 1: Arusha – Serengeti National Park
Your Tanzania Safari Trip begins with an early pick-up in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive through Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area en route to the Serengeti. After lunch, embark on your first game drive in the Seronera region, the heart of the Serengeti, famous for resident lion prides, elephants, giraffes, and migratory herds.

Day 2: Serengeti – Full-Day Game Drive Toward Migration
Today is dedicated to following the Great Migration. After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive heading north toward the river crossing points. This is where the drama unfolds: massive herds of wildebeests and zebras brave crocodile-filled waters as predators lie in wait.
If lucky, you may witness a Mara River crossing, one of the most intense and unforgettable scenes of the migration cycle. Along the way, spot cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and countless bird species. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and rest.

Day 3: Serengeti – Central Serengeti Exploration
Spend another full day exploring the Central Serengeti, famous for its open plains and diverse ecosystems. Watch as large herds graze across the savannah, while lions and cheetahs patrol their territories. The Seronera River provides year-round water, attracting elephants, buffalo, hippos, and leopards.
This day offers exceptional photography opportunities, from predator-prey interactions to sweeping panoramic landscapes. After your adventure, return to Kumbukumbu Luxury Tented Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
On the final day of your Tanzania Safari Trip, enjoy a short morning game drive in the Serengeti before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s densest wildlife havens.
Here, you can encounter all of the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and the endangered black rhino. The crater is also home to wildebeests, zebras, flamingos, and hippos. After a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, ascend the crater walls and return to Arusha by evening, marking the end of your epic migration safari.
