Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara – Into the Wild
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your safari guide will greet you and brief you on the adventure ahead. After breakfast in Nairobi, set out on a scenic five to six-hour drive through Kenya’s countryside. Along the way, you’ll pass through the Rift Valley with stunning viewpoints before arriving at the Masai Mara National Reserve.
After checking into Zebra Plains Mara Camp and enjoying lunch, embark on your first afternoon game drive. The Mara is a wildlife paradise — herds of elephants, prides of lions, cheetahs scanning the plains, and giraffes silhouetted against the sky. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner around the campfire, soaking in the atmosphere of Africa’s most iconic wilderness.

Day 2: Full-Day Masai Mara – The Safari Dream
Wake early for breakfast and prepare for a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara. Today you can opt for a hot air balloon safari (extra cost) — floating silently above the savannah as the sun rises is one of the most magical experiences of any Africa Safari Trip.
Spend the day on game drives across the reserve, seeking out the “Big Five” — lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino. The Mara is also teeming with wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 450 bird species. Midday, return to camp for lunch and a rest, or enjoy a picnic in the wild.
In the afternoon, you may visit a Masai village to immerse yourself in the traditions of the Maasai people — known for their colorful attire, warrior culture, and deep connection to the land. End the day with dinner and starlit skies at camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru – Birds & Rhinos
After breakfast, depart the Mara and travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Famous for its birdlife, the park is home to over 400 species including flamingos, pelicans, and cormorants. Nakuru is also one of the best places in Kenya to see rhinos, both black and white.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive that takes you around the lake and into the acacia forests. Look out for Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, lions, and leopards. Return to Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha – Freshwater Beauty
After breakfast, continue your journey to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake surrounded by lush greenery. Check into Sawela Lodge, where lunch awaits.
In the afternoon, take a boat ride across the lake (optional, extra cost), spotting hippos, fish eagles, and pelicans. Continue to Crescent Island for a walking safari, where you can stroll among giraffes, zebras, and gazelles in complete safety. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli – Kilimanjaro Calling
Today’s drive takes you south to Amboseli National Park, arriving at Kibo Safari Camp by lunchtime. After refreshments and a short rest, set out on your first Amboseli game drive.
Amboseli is a land of contrasts — dusty plains, lush swamps, and the dramatic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is most famous for its elephant herds, which are some of the largest and easiest to observe anywhere in Africa. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner under the stars.

Day 6: Full-Day Amboseli – Elephants & Kilimanjaro
Rise early for a morning game drive, when Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peak is most visible. Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s diverse habitats: the swamps teeming with birdlife, the acacia woodlands where giraffes browse, and the open plains where predators roam.
Expect close encounters with elephants, buffalo, lions, and cheetahs. The park also supports rich birdlife, with over 400 species recorded. Return to Kibo Safari Camp in the evening for dinner around the campfire.

Day 7: Amboseli to Diani Beach – From Savannah to Sea
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to the coast. Arrive in Diani Beach, consistently ranked as one of Africa’s best beaches. At Southern Palms Beach Resort, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink before checking into your room.
Spend the afternoon relaxing on the soft sands, swimming in the turquoise waters, or simply enjoying the coastal breeze. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Today is at leisure to enjoy Diani at your own pace. You can indulge in water sports such as snorkeling, scuba diving, or kite surfing, or simply relax by the pool with a cocktail in hand.
The Indian Ocean coastline offers endless opportunities for adventure: deep-sea fishing, dhow cruises, or visiting nearby marine parks. In the evening, enjoy coastal cuisine at the resort.
