Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
Your Kenya Safari Package begins with an early pick-up from Nairobi. Drive north across fertile farmlands and cross the Equator, pausing for photos before continuing to Samburu. Arrive in time for lunch at Samburu Sopa Lodge before heading out on an afternoon game drive.
Samburuโs semi-arid wilderness is home to rare wildlife found only in northern Kenya, including the reticulated giraffe, Grevyโs zebra, Beisa oryx, and Somali ostrich. As evening falls, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Samburu
Spend the day exploring Samburu, a highlight of any Kenya Safari Package for its unique wildlife and landscapes. Morning and afternoon game drives take you along the Ewaso Nyiro River, the lifeline of the reserve, where elephants and crocodiles are often seen.
In addition to the Samburu Special Five, you may encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, and herds of buffalo. Birdwatchers will enjoy spotting the vulturine guineafowl, eagles, and starlings. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 3: Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart Samburu with a scenic stop at Thomsonโs Falls en route. Continue to the Rift Valley and arrive at Lake Nakuru in the evening. After checking in at Lake Nakuru Lodge, enjoy an evening game drive.
Lake Nakuru is renowned for its flamingos and pelicans, but itโs also one of Kenyaโs best rhino sanctuaries. Lions, leopards, giraffes, and buffalo also inhabit the park, offering a rewarding wildlife experience. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Your Kenya Safari Package continues with a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru to spot flamingos, rhinos, and other wildlife. Later, depart for the Maasai Mara, stopping for a picnic lunch along the way. Arrive in the Mara by early evening and enjoy a short game drive before dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.
The Maasai Mara is world-famous for its vast savannahs, predators, and the Great Migration. Even outside the migration season, it offers some of the best game viewing in Africa.

Day 5 & 6: Full-Day Game Drives in Maasai Mara
Spend two full days in the Maasai Mara, centerpiece of every Kenya Safari Package. Early breakfasts fuel morning game drives, while picnic lunches let you spend the entire day exploring. Visit the Mara River, where crocodiles and hippos live year-round and wildebeests and zebras cross during the migration season.
Expect to see the Big Five โ lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino โ along with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and antelopes. Bird lovers will delight in more than 450 recorded species. Return each evening to Mara Sopa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, optionally visit a Maasai village before departing for Lake Naivasha. Arrive at Naivasha Sopa Lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring.
Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake surrounded by lush vegetation and rich birdlife. Take a boat ride on the lake to see hippos or visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 8: Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
In the morning, visit Hellโs Gate National Park, one of the few parks where cycling and walking safaris are allowed. Explore its dramatic cliffs, geothermal activity, and gorges before departing for Amboseli.
Arrive in Amboseli in the evening, check in at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, and enjoy dinner. This park is known for its elephant herds and the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africaโs highest peak.

Day 9: Full-Day Safari in Amboseli
Your Kenya Safari Package continues with a full-day exploration of Amboseli. Morning game drives are the best time to photograph Kilimanjaroโs snowcapped summit before clouds gather.
Amboseli is one of the best places in Africa to observe elephants up close, and it also shelters lions, cheetahs, hyenas, zebras, and wildebeests. More than 400 bird species have been recorded here, making it a paradise for birdwatchers. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Amboseli to Nairobi
On your final day, enjoy an early morning game drive to capture last views of elephants against Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive back to Nairobi, arriving around 3:00 p.m. Youโll be dropped at your hotel or airport, marking the end of your 10-day Kenya Safari Package.
