Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Your Africa Safari Trip begins with your arrival in Arusha, the safari capital of northern Tanzania. Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your professional safari guide will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to relax after your international flight or enjoy an optional guided tour of Arusha town. Many visitors also enjoy visiting local coffee plantations where some of Tanzania’s finest Arabica coffee is grown on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru.
Spend the evening settling in and enjoying a delicious dinner while preparing for the incredible safari adventure ahead.

Day 2: Arusha to Ngorongoro
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and travel through the scenic highlands toward the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera on earth and hosts an incredible density of wildlife. During your game drive inside the crater, you may encounter lions resting on the grasslands, elephants with massive tusks roaming the forests, and even the endangered black rhino grazing across the open plains.
The crater’s ecosystem includes forests, wetlands, soda lakes, and vast savannahs that support thousands of animals. After a thrilling safari experience, head to your lodge near Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Exploring Ngorongoro
Today you’ll spend a full day exploring the incredible ecosystems of the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend early into the crater floor to maximize wildlife viewing opportunities when animals are most active.
This natural amphitheater supports one of Africa’s densest wildlife populations. During your game drive, you may spot lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and leopards hunting among herds of zebras, wildebeests, gazelles, and buffalo. Flamingos and other waterbirds gather along the shores of Lake Magadi, creating stunning pink reflections across the water.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor surrounded by spectacular scenery before continuing your safari in the afternoon. Later, return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro to Serengeti
After breakfast, depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. The drive passes through beautiful landscapes of the Ngorongoro highlands before gradually descending into the vast Serengeti plains.
The word Serengeti comes from the Maasai language meaning “endless plains,” and the park truly lives up to its name. Covering thousands of square kilometers, it hosts one of the largest wildlife migrations on earth. Herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles roam across the savannah while predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas closely follow.
Arrive at your tented camp in the afternoon for dinner and overnight in the heart of the African wilderness.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the magnificent Serengeti National Park. Start the day with an early morning game drive when predators are most active.
Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains searching for fresh grazing. This natural spectacle attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, and crocodiles waiting along river crossings.
Throughout the day, explore different sections of the park while enjoying a picnic lunch in the wilderness. As the sun sets over the golden plains, return to camp for dinner and a peaceful night under the African stars.

Day 6: Serengeti to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in Serengeti National Park before heading toward the Isebania Border.
After completing immigration formalities, continue your journey into Kenya’s renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Mara ecosystem forms the northern extension of the Serengeti and is famous for its abundant wildlife and spectacular migration events.
Arrive in the evening and enjoy an en-route game drive before settling into your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Maasai Mara
Begin the day with an optional hot-air balloon safari over the breathtaking plains of Maasai Mara National Reserve. Floating silently above the savannah at sunrise offers one of the most magical wildlife viewing experiences in Africa.
After breakfast, spend the day exploring the Mara’s rich wildlife habitats. The reserve is home to large prides of lions, elusive leopards, powerful elephants, and countless antelope species.
Visit the famous Mara River, where the dramatic wildebeest crossings occur during migration season. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 8: Maasai Mara to Entebbe
Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve before traveling back to Nairobi.
From there, catch a flight to Entebbe, located along the shores of Lake Victoria. Upon arrival, meet your Ugandan guide and transfer to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Entebbe to Kibale Forest
Travel westward through Uganda’s lush countryside toward Kibale National Park, known as the primate capital of the world.
The journey passes tea plantations, crater lakes, and picturesque villages before arriving near Kibale Forest. Spend the afternoon relaxing at your lodge and preparing for the next day’s chimpanzee trekking experience.

Day 10: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Walk
Today you’ll embark on a guided chimpanzee trekking experience inside Kibale National Park. Accompanied by experienced rangers, track chimpanzees through dense tropical forest as they feed, groom, and communicate with each other.
Later, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run conservation area known for its birdlife and monkeys. The walk also offers insight into local Ugandan culture and conservation initiatives.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 11: Kibale to Bwindi
After breakfast, travel through Uganda’s scenic countryside toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
The journey passes rolling hills, banana plantations, and traditional villages before reaching Lake Bunyonyi, often called the “Switzerland of Africa.”

Day 12: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Today is the highlight of your Africa Safari Trip. After a briefing by park rangers, trek through the dense rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in search of a habituated gorilla family.
Once located, you’ll spend one magical hour observing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat — watching them feed, interact, and care for their young.
Later, return to your lodge for relaxation or visit the Batwa cultural community to learn about their traditional forest lifestyle.

Day 13: Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, depart Lake Bunyonyi and travel back toward Kampala and Entebbe.
Stop at the famous Uganda Equator Crossing for photos and souvenir shopping before continuing to Entebbe. Later, your guide will transfer you to the airport for your international departure.
